DAMPAK PENGEMBANGAN WISATA PULAU CINTA KABUPATEN KAMPAR TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT LOKAL

Abstrak

Teluk Kenidai village is one of the villages in the mining sub-district of Kampar district which has a natural tourist destination called Love Island (Pulau CInta). The development of this tourist destination has an impact on the development of local community businesses in the form of products and services. This increase in business has an impact on the welfare of the surrounding community. Community welfare is a condition that shows the current state of community life which is reflected in the community's standard of living. This research uses quantitative descriptive data to describe the impact of developing tourist attractions on community welfare. Many residents from Pekanbaru and other areas deliberately visit Pulau cinta. This research aims to determine the impact of the development of Pulau cinta tourism on the welfare of the community. The results of the research show that the existence of this tourist attraction has an impact on the economy of the surrounding community, such as increasing the number of people working at the tourist attraction, opening employment opportunities, opening micro, small and medium businesses, increasing facilities and infrastructure from the government, permits to open tourist attractions are increasingly easier.
