Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to help improve welfare and empower the economy in the current era. This includes enhancing the quality of life for the community, boosting economic empowerment, and more. Economic welfare development efforts refer to initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and economic capabilities of the community, particularly the poor, through a series of activities designed to create a positive, conducive, and synergistic environment for the people. Lubuk Sakat Village faces significant challenges in enhancing the welfare and economic empowerment of its community. The strategies implemented include the development of the agricultural sector through the modernization of farming tools and techniques, diversification of agricultural products, and improved market access. Additionally, economic empowerment is pursued through skill training, capacity building for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and the use of information technology to expand the marketing reach of local products. Collaboration between the village government, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations is also strengthened to support financing and infrastructure development.
