PENGARUH REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT TERHADAP KINERJA PRAMUNIAGA PT. SUMBER ALFARIA TRIJAYA, TBK (ALFAMART) KOTA PEKANBARU
Abstract
Employee performance is an important factor that can affect customer satisfaction which will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and their loyalty to the company.Employee performance will indirectly reflect the success of the company and have a good impact on the company. To achieve effective employee performance, companies can pay attention to several things including giving rewards and punishments. This study discusses several problem formulations, namely, first, How Rewards affect the performance of Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople, How Punishment affects the performance of Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople, How Rewards and Punishments affect the performance of Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople. This study is a quantitative study with a descriptive research type. The population of this study was 62 Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople and will be continued into multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 20. Based on the results of statistical tests that have been carried out, all tests are met with a p-value of less than 0.05, which means that rewards partially have a significant effect on the performance of Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople. Based on the results of statistical testing that has been done, it shows that all tests are fulfilled with a p-value of less than 0.05, which means that punishment partially has a significant effect on the performance of Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople. Based on the results of statistical testing that has been done, it shows that all tests are fulfilled with a p-value of less than 0.05, it can be concluded that reward and punishment simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Alfamart Pekanbaru City salespeople, with a determination coefficient value of 0.691 or 69.1%. This shows that the independent variables together have an influence in explaining performance of 69.1% while the remaining 30.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study
